Automation, Maintenance, & Reliability Summit

In the world of maintenance and industrial production, operations are continuing to transform as maintenance professionals are pushed to “digitally transform” and become more data driven. The ultimate goal is to execute effective condition-based maintenance, maximize asset reliability and avoid catastrophic failure, but how is this effectively accomplished? Explore how Industry 4.0 is enabling digital transformation decision-making and the role played by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), robotics, how the numerous existing sensor data can be used sensibly with connectivity, and how all of this leads to reliable control.

The Automation, Maintenance, & Reliability Summit is aimed at plant, production, and manufacturing managers, as well as safety engineers, technical specialists, automation specialists, design/development managers, and system integrators.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Lean principles and lean tools have a very important role in various industrial sectors in today’s manufacturing world. The core idea of lean manufacturing is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste in the manufacturing process. In this class, participants will learn some of the most useful lean tools to use as part of a comprehensive lean implementation plan, achieving goals centered around reducing waste, improving efficiency and increasing customer value. Participants will engage in a factory simulation for applied learning which will enable them to connect the tools to the hands-on experience.

This course is apart of the Lean Tools Certification program. Interested?

COURSE OBJECTIVES
  • Know the 5S’s and the benefits of each;
  • Be able to implement 5S throughout a facility and understand how to sustain it;
  • Define the benefits of a visually managed workplace;
  • Learn the importance of seeing abnormaliities quickly.

DESIGNED FOR

Operators, supervisors, team leaders, coordinators, technicians and engineers.

TOSHA Recordkeeping Rule
Hosted by the TN Chamber

TNCCI rgb

Accurate records are important for many reasons and TOSHA expects employers to comply with the rules for keeping records that truly reflect workplace injuries and illnesses that occur in Tennessee. This seminar reviews OSHA's recordkeeping requirements, including proper maintenance of the OSHA 300 Log, completion of the 300A Summary, reporting oblications, and the requirements to electronically submit injury/illness data via the Injury Tracking Application (ITA). Participants will gain a clear understanding of what must be recorded, what must be reported, and how to meet electronic submission requirements.
