COURSE DESCRIPTION
This comprehensive Arc Flash Safety course is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure safety in environments where electrical hazards are present. The course will cover key topics from the NFPA 70E standard, emphasizing the creation of Electrical Safe Work Conditions and the responsibilities of both employers and employees. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of important definitions, the significance of Lock Out – Tag Out procedures, and the importance of a Live Work Permit. Additionally, the course will provide hands-on experience with performing a Live - Dead - Live test using a multi-meter and highlight the necessity of using proper PPE and insulated tools. By the end of this course, participants will be proficient in identifying and mitigating arc flash hazards, ensuring both personal safety and regulatory compliance in the workplace.
